Close to three shopping malls, the MRT, and this newly built casino and resort, Seda Vertis North is one of the best hotels in Quezon City. I have stayed here two times now, and both of my experiences have been exceptional. The rooms are spacious, the staff members are friendly, and the breakfast buffet at Misto Restaurant, satisfying. If you are thinking about booking Seda Vertis North, you can get up to 8% off if you book here using our promo code TRAVLISTS.

Where to Book Seda Vertis North
Staying at Seda Vertis North
When it comes to hotels in Quezon City, Seda Vertis North has long been the preferred accommodation among tourists, locals, and Filipinos who are returning to Metro Manila for a holiday. The homegrown hotel chain Seda, which means silk in Tagalog and Spanish, is owned and operated by a large conglomerate in the Philippines. This means that you can expect authentic Filipino hospitality and a superior stay when you visit.
I have had the pleasure of staying in Seda Vertis North twice (all costs borne by me), so I can say I am quite familiar with the rooms, breakfast buffet, and other amenities on the property. It’s worth noting at this point that both of my stays were during the Christmas season, so I was able to experience how the hotel operated during peak season.
Before sharing about my recent week-long stay in Seda in the next sections, allow me to preempt my verdict: I would definitely visit this hotel again and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who’s traveling to Metro Manila, particularly in Quezon City.
Arrival and Check-in
As you ascend to the property’s driveway, you will be greeted by the friendly security staff, bell attendants, and valet service. You may notice that these front-of-house members place their right hand on their chest whenever they greet guests. This is a gesture that shows their sincere welcome. This is a small touch but one that I appreciate. (As an aside, parking is free for all staying guests. Valet is offered at ₱200.)
When you enter Seda Vertis North, you will find the front desk on the right side. If I remember correctly, there were around 4-5 counters designated for general check-in and check-out and another counter for online check-ins. I arrived early at around 10:30 AM (the standard check-in is at 2pm), so I actually wasn’t expecting to get my room key right away. I asked if I could just leave my bag at the desk, but the front desk assistant offered to check my reservation to see if there was a room available. I appreciated the offer and even more when they told me I could check in early for free. (Note that this is not standard hotel policy, so you may not be able to get an early check-in when you visit.)
For reference, I booked Seda Vertis North on Klook here for my visit in 2023 and on Booking.com for my visit in 2024. Both offered free cancellation up to a certain period of time as well as competitive rates.
Rooms at Seda Vertis North
I have stayed in two room types at Seda Vertis North: the Deluxe Double (standard) and the Club Double (with club lounge access). There was not a huge difference between the two. In fact, they were very similar. Both have a very spacious floor size of 32 m², which does not feel crowded even if you have 5 people in the room at one time. (I’m the only one who slept in the room, but my friends and family dropped by.)
Both the Deluxe and the Club Double rooms have a huge King-size bed (can fit up to 3 adults), a couch, a flat-screen television, a minibar, and ample closet space for storage. The bathrooms also have an enclosed shower, locally sourced toiletries, and a hairdryer.
The only difference between the two room types is, of course, you get access to the Club Lounge when you stay in a Club Room. At the lounge, you can delight in all-day refreshments and a breakfast buffet. Club Room guests also get to stay on the highest floors of the property. Other than these, you can expect an overall spacious and well-furnished room whether you book a Deluxe or Club.
Gym, Pool, Spa, & Sauna
If you are checking in at Seda Vertis North with family, friends, or your significant other, you can enjoy several amenities in this Quezon City hotel. These include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center (with a full set of weights), and a wet and dry sauna. Access to these amenties is free for all hotel guests.
There is also an in-house spa that offers classic and Filipino-style massage treatments. Services range from $30-45, excluding tips.
Breakfast Buffet at Misto Restaurant in Seda Vertis North
As mentioned in online forums and reviews, one of the highlights of staying at Seda Vertis North is the breakfast buffet. Offered at Misto, an all-day restaurant on the hotel’s first floor, the buffet features Filipino and international flavors.
Here is what I liked on their spread:
- Assorted bread and pastries (signature banana bread, ube pandesal, sourdough bread, etc.)
- Taho station (Filipino tofu dessert)
- Eggs station (omelettes to your liking)
- Breakfast potatoes
- White rice
- Garlic rice
- Porridge
- Cold cuts & cheese
- Overflowing crispy bacon
- Classic Filipino dishes (These change per day, but I had mechado and adobo)
- Fresh juice
- Coffee
Breakfast is typically included in these hotel room packages. However, non-staying guests can dine at the restaurant for around $20 or ₱990+ per person.
Misto Bakeshop at Seda Vertis North
On the right end of the ground floor is the Misto Bakeshop, where you can find freshly baked breads and goodies. My friend actually recommended Seda’s signature banana breads (around ₱500), so I purchased a couple to give to other friends and family for Christmas (They all loved it!). The bakeshop also sells artisanal cakes and Filipino pastries.
Nearby landmarks and restaurants
Seda is close to Ayala Malls Vertis North (it’s linked via B2 floor). On some days where I skipped the breakfast buffet, I opted to have coffee at the Starbucks and Coffee Bean inside the mall.
Vertis North also has two convenience stores, a grocery mart, movie theaters, clothing stores (H&M, Uniqlo, Adidas, among others) and good restaurants like Pancake House and Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen. They also have Potato Corner, McDonald’s, UCC Coffee, and so many others.
Right cross Seda Vertis North, there is also the newly built Solaire Resort North. This luxurious property houses a casino and more upscale dining options.

Hi! Loved the review! I’m excited for my visit here next week. Do they require a security deposit for a one-night stay? And if they do, how much?
Hello! Good question, thank you. They charged me ₱5,000 for my 6-day stay. However, it might be different for an overnight stay (around ₱2,000).
