Best Jeju Island Day Tours for Foreigners
Whenever I tell my Korean friends that I have plans to travel to Jeju Island, I almost always get the same tip: “It’s quite difficult to hop from one place to another, so make sure to rent a car or join a tour.” Unlike Seoul, Busan, Incheon, and other cities in the country, there is not much public transportation options in the island and it’s just inconvenient to take one. Taxi fees, if not chartered, are quite expensive, and buses come and go less frequently. For this reason, joining a private or shared Jeju day tour is the smart thing to do if you plan to explore the island. Not only will you get to multiple cultural landmarks and UNESCO Heritage sites, you’ll also have an English or Chinese-speaking guide who can share more about what locals call the Hawaii of Korea.
Below you will find the cheapest Jeju Island day tours along with some more expensive bestsellers, but if you want to have a private and customized adventure, do check out the well-reviewed private and chartered Jeju taxi tour on Klook below:

- BEST REVIEW: “This is a great tour for people who want to see essential parts of Jeju quickly. For reference, I am a solo female [traveler, and] I felt very comfortable. I was only staying in Jeju for 3 days and 2 nights. Therefore, this is the perfect way to explore Jeju… I felt very safe and the tour guide, Eric, is very kind and knowledgeable. He informs you about important information whilst on the bus, and…you can ask him questions when at the tourist spots. He also offers to take pictures for you. It is very suitable for solo travellers, for families etc. There is some short walking/hiking up to Songaksan Mountain so please wear trainers. If you do not want to do the hiking, then you do not have to. The mountain has a lovely beach and many restaurants at the base, where you can rest,” reads this helpful review from a satisfied traveler.

We had a great time doing the K-drama tour. Our tour guide Choi played K-drama songs during the tour which my wife absolutely loved especially the Queen of Tears OST. He shared essential information about the beautiful island and where the famous K-dramas where filmed, namely “Welcome to Samdal-ri” and “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.” We appreciate the fact that Choi even went out of his way to recommend a nice lunch [restaurant] with vegetarian bibimbap. Choi also brought us to famous spots which are not really included in the package like Camellia Hill and Aewol because he wanted us to see the beautiful spots of Jeju. This K-drama tour is highly recommended for all K-drama lovers visiting Jeju.

This tour is a hidden GEM!! Came to Jeju for the first time and spent the first day touring historical sites, but the second day we were looking for an active activity the boys would enjoy. They love to fish and the idea of fishing off the coast of Jeju seemed perfect. The weather was ideal and in our favor. Jessica the tour host was super responsive and extremely friendly. She’s fluent in English and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The captain of the ship was so helpful also and the boys said this was their FAVORITE activity in all of Korea.
