If there is only one zoo in Singapore that we could recommend to tourists, it would have to be Night Safari. This one-of-a-kind nocturnal wildlife park features a fun tram ride that will let you see elephants, hyenas, otters, and other fascinating creatures that lurk in the dark. The park also features four walking trails, the must-see Creatures of the Night Show, and a huge Asian restaurant called Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant. Wildlife Park Operators in Singapore
Nature is in Singapore’s name. While not literally, the Southeast Asian country goes by two interesting monikers: the Lion City (Singapura, where the state got its name, translates to Lion City in Malay) and the Garden City. But these are not just nicknames — Singapore does offer some of the best nature-themed experiences in the region.
The major aquariums and zoos in Singapore are managed by two companies: Mandai Wildlife Reserve and Resorts World Sentosa. On the one hand, Mandai operates five wildlife attractions. These are the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, Bird Paradise, River Wonders, and the new Rainforest WILD Asia. On the other hand, Resorts World Sentosa operates two equally exciting experience centers: the new Singapore Oceanarium (formerly S.E.A. Aquarium) and Dolphin Island.
Both Mandai and Resorts World Sentosa offer world-class wildlife-themed experiences for families and friends, along with shows, dining outlets, and themed rides or activities for all ages.

Don’t forget to check the schedules available for the day and book ahead. The tram ride is only around 30 minutes, and it is kind of hard to take photos as the lights are dim. Rest assured, the experience is one of a kind and the shows are a [must-see], even for adults.”

4. River Wonders
The fourth zoo on our list is River Wonders, an expansive marine-themed attraction that may be best known for its adorable pandas. Here, you’ll find yourself enjoying a river-themed experience in the heart of Singapore. Check out all the themed zones like the Congo River, where an awesome fish exhibit is displayed; the Nile-inspired River of Life, which features ancient-looking creatures; and, of course, the Yangtze River, where you can find the cute pandas. 6. Rainforest WILD Asia
If you and your crew are all about adventure, this is the Mandai wildlife park to visit. Rainforest WILD Asia, which opened in the second quarter of 2025, not only offers up-close encounters with diverse wildlife but also nature-themed activities for families and friends. What our team likes about this new spot is the variety of animals, which include Blood pythons, crocodiles, sun bears, siamangs, and Vietnamese pheasants. But beyond the sightings of these creatures, it was also a delight to experience the suspension bridges (there are four!), the mini-trek in the forest, and the cave exploration.
