Located in Mystic Point, this adventurer-themed restaurant delights diners with special traveler-inspired rooms and flavors from around the world. What’s special about Explorer’s Club is that they offer a 75 or 90-minute Semi-Buffet Experience. The concept is simple: you choose one main dish from the menu (select a Chinese, Moroccan, Italian, Indian, or Egyptian entrée) and eat to your heart’s content with the unlimited spread (features hot and cold appetizers, salad, soup, pasta, seafood, and Disney-inspired desserts). Momentous: Party in the Night Sky

The epic conclusion of your Hong Kong Disneyland visit will be Momentous: Party in the Night Sky (originally Momentous: Nighttime Spectacular). This much-awaited nighttime show is said to be the highlight for most visitors. For 28 minutes, all eyes will be on the Castle of Magical Dreams as it gets lit up by eight elements: theatrical lights, drones, flames, lasers, water fountains, water projections, 3D projection mapping, and fireworks effects. The result? A jaw-dropping show that you and your friends, family, and significant other would not want to miss.

The ‘Momentous’ show hours vary per day, but it can be anywhere between 8-9:30pm (8pm and 9pm shows are common, while 8:30pm and 9:30pm shows are reserved on peak or high-season dates). You can check the schedule of Momentous on the official website.

How to Book Explorer’s Semi-Buffet Dinner + “Momentous” Special Viewing Area Package

To enjoy both Momentous and the Semi-Buffet Dinner, you can get the 2-in-1 package (available for booking at least 1 month in advance). It starts at US$72 for adults and US$49 for children and includes the following: a 90-minute dinner and admission to the Momentous Special Viewing Area. Here’s how to book:

1. Purchase a 1-day or 2-day park ticket

The Semi-Buffet Dinner with admission to the viewing area does not include park tickets. Hence, make sure you purchase one first as the package is typically not refundable.

2. Book the Semi-Buffet with Momentous Package

Reservations can be made at least 1 month in advance (for Christmas packages, booking is available around 3 months prior). Note that slots are limited and filled out fast, so I suggest marking your calendar for booking.

3. Visit Explorer’s Club, scan your ticket’s QR Code, and get a wristband

Those who have availed the package will receive a wristband when entering the restaurant. This will be your ticket to the special viewing area at Momentous. (Make sure not to lose this wristband!)

4. Proceed to the Momentous Special Viewing Area

After enjoying your dining experience, proceed to the VIP area right in front of the Castle. It takes around 15-20 minutes to get to the viewing area from the restaurant, on average.

Tips

• Book in advance. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Those who book closer to their dining date may be assigned a table in the outer area, so I recommend booking as early as possible.
• Save or print your ticket. You will need to show your tickets on your smartphone to enter the restaurant and get the wristband. You can also show a printed copy of your ticket.
• Head on over to the show. Walk to the Momentous Special Viewing Area 20 minutes before the show.
